Day 1 - Wednesday
Baltra
Departure from Quito or Guayaquil to Baltra airport in Galapagos. (aprox. 2 and a half hours flight). Passengers will be received by guides at the airport and transferred to the Itabaca canal, cross to the island of Santa Cruz and travel to Puerto Ayora.
Santa Cruz (Dragon Hill)
During this excursion visitors head for Dragon Hill. After a dry landing, passengers walk to a hypersalinic lagoon behind the beach. Occasionally visited by pink flamingos. The trail then leads up to Dragon Hill, which offers a beautiful view of the bay,
This area is a nesting site for a large number of land iguanas that where reintroduced by the Charles Darwin Research Station. There is also a bizarre scalesia tree forest.
Day 2 - Thursday
Rabida (Jervis)
Wet landing at the dark red colored beach of volcanic origin frequented by sea lions. It is often considered the geographic center of Galapagos because it has the most diversified volcanic rocks of all the Islands.
A short trail leads to a salt water lagoon, where you will occasionally find flamingos.
July thru September is a good time of the year to observe how brown pelican nest in the salty bushes found at the far side of the lagoon. Also to be observed are boobies and 9 species of Darwin's finches.
Dinghy ride by the reefs and an excellent opportunity for snorkeling.
Santiago (Egas Port)
Visit the dark sand beach at Egas Port during a wet landing. Most of the landscape are tuff-stone layers and lava flows, the surrounding area is prime for spotting and observing hunting herons, great blue herons, lava herons, oyster catchers, and the yellow crowned night heron.
Passengers enjoy the sight of marine iguanas grazing upon algae beds at low tide sharing space with red sally light-foot crabs.
There is a colony of fur-seal swimming in deep pools of cool water called "grottos". In this beach you can swim and snorkel in search of octopuses, sea horses, star fish and other sea life.
Day 3 - Friday
Fernandina (Espinosa Point)
After a dry landing at Espinosa Point, passengers will see the biggest marine iguanas mingling with sally-light foot crabs. They will also enjoy the flightless cormorants nesting sites, the Galapagos penguins, Galapagos hawks, and sea lions.
Among the flora and volcanic formations observers will note brachycereus cactus, and two kinds of lava formations "pa-hoe-hoe" lava and "AA". Numerous mangrove beds extend into the sea, depicting a healthy and thriving eco-system.
Isabela (Point Vicente Roca)
Another possible excursion is at Point Vicente Roca, on Isabela island. There are no landings for this excursion. Only open for dinghy sightseeing, snorkeling, and scuba. Travelers will enjoy high cliffs with tuff stone, ash, and other lava formations, caves and plenty of nesting sites for brown noddies and blue footed boobies. With luck passengers will have up close encounters with the occasional dolphin.
Day 4 - Saturday
Bartolome
Dry landing. Arriving on this island, passengers will see volcanic formations including lava bombs, spatter, and cinder cones. After a hike to the summit visitors available to enjoy an impressive view of the surrounding islands, including the eroded tuff cone of Pinnacle Rock. During the hike to the summit, travelers will often see large colonies of marine iguanas, lava lizards, tiquilla and various cacti.
Visitors will also enjoy a chance to cool off while snorkeling. Here it is possible to see the Galapagos penguin, sea turtles, and white tipped sharks from a safe distance.
Santa Cruz (Black Turtle Cove)
Arrive at Black Turtle Cove located near Las Bachas beach in the north of Santa Cruz island. This excursion provides passengers with a "dinghy" ride though the mangrove, during which the outboard motor of the small boat is turned off. This allows the close observation of marine turtles, white tipped reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, and yellow rays.
Day 5 - Sunday
Santa Cruz (Charles Darwin Research Station)
Travelers will have the chance to investigate the Charles Darwin Research Station in Puerto Ayora, staffed with international scientists conducting biological research and conservation projects. Here you can also admire giant tortoises that are part of the breeding program.
Travelers can also admire the impressive giant prickly-pear cactus forest and many land birds. The visit to the station takes around 40 minutes. After this visit, passengers will have some free time to walk around town and shop for souvenirs.
Disembark at the docks (Baltra). Passengers will take a bus to the airport for their flight back to mainland via Guayaquil to Quito.

Functionality and versatility are the defining features of the M/Y Corall II. The low number of passengers means we have maximized the space for every cabin. Standard Cabins are located on the Main Deck. These six spacious cabins are completely carpeted, finished in eye-catching teak, and have two lower beds that can be joined or separated.

The Coral II's social areas are all you could wish for in a small yacht. The lounge is spacious, decorated with marine fabrics, with stunning picture windows giving panaoramic views of the island and their wildlife. Comfy couches are ideal places to catch up on some reading, or catch forty winks.
The elegance and comfort continue through to the yacht's dining room, adjoining the lounge, where you'll enjoy our chef's daily culinary delights. The Coral II's bar is always stocked with a full range of drinks, whether national or international, and a bartender will always be on hand to dispense them or make a suggestion.
The yacht's open area at the bow is a wonderful place to spot dolphins playing in the bow waves or whales breaking the surface in the distance. There are also comfortable sofas, as well as a top deck ideal for star gazing at night or sunbathing by day.

What kind of weather can we find in the Galapagos Islands?
In general, December to June are the warmest months. January to March can be hot and humid, but also mostly green at this time. July to November are cooler. The average year-round temperature is 24ºC.
What should I bring in my trip?
We advise you to bring comfortable breathable clothes, shorts, T-shirts, swimsuits and good hiking shoes are required to walk over the lava rock paths.
What does my cruise rate not include?

What type of clothing should I wear on board?
Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended aboard the ship. We prefer that Jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or tennis shoes are not worn for dinner.

Do I need a passport or visa to go to Galapagos?
A passport is required. Your travel agency can advise you of any visa requirements when traveling to Ecuador.
What can I pack for the excursions?
For shore excursions comfortable clothing is a must, preferably shorts, bathing suits, head covering, sun screen, walking shoes, tennis shoes, windbreaker type jacket, binoculars, camera and plenty of film.
What is the smoking policy on board the ship?
It is forbidden to smoke inside the yachts or the vessel. Smoking is allowed ONLY on the sun decks.
What is the dress code for dinner?
Casual attire is required during dinner (Shorts, sandals or swimsuits are not allowed in the dinning room).
Are there any language restrictions?
We can guarantee English, Spanish, French, German and Italian in our cruises, but we can provide another language under request.
Are there any luggage Restrictions?
Luggage is restricted to 20 kg, excess luggage will be paid at the airport.
What is the electric current on board?
The M/VGalapagos Legeng has 110/220 Outlets and the Coral Yachts have only 110 outlets.
Is Internet access available aboard the Legend?
Unfortunately we don't have access to Internet in the M/VGalapagos Legend.
What would happen if I get seasick?
We hardly ever get a seasick passenger onboard. However, we have seasick medication on board all our ships, but if you are particularly sensitive he/she can bring their own medication.

Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions described here are applicable to all the services, cruises, and programs contracted with KLEINTOURS/GALATOURS, herein after called KT. These general terms and conditions also apply to any cruise or third party services sold by KT. The user of KT services agrees to be bounded by these terms and conditions, and any updates published in www.kleintours.com in the "GENERAL CONDITIONS" section, which will ultimately apply.
The user of KT services is deemed to have read and understood this section.
KT reservers the right to change prices in the event of any price increases beyond the control of KT including, the price of the fuel and/or fluctuations on Government taxes.
Any physical disability that may require special attention or treatment should be reported in written to KT. KT reserves the right to decline to accept any reservation for any reason what so ever.
Trip members have the responsibility to select a trip appropriate to their abilities and interests, KT will not pay for any expenses incurred for medical reasons.
Trip members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. KT and its affiliates take no responsibility for special arrangements or problems incurred by passengers physically unable to participate in the planned activities.
No refund will be forthcoming for missed sightseeing, meals, and early/late departures and dislike visits.
We will endeavour to guarantee tours as far in advance as possible, however some tours can not be guarantee until 60 days prior to departure. Should passenger's program be cancel due to lack of enrolment you will be contacted approximately up to a week prior to the scheduled departure. The program can be re-booked with no charge.
We will endeavour to operate all tours as requested, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed necessary or advisable by KT, including substitution with comparable hotel, yacht or vessel, attractions or sightseeing. Extra costs due to unexpected changes in your itinerary for reasons beyond our control are not included. (If upgrade is necessary, higher rates may apply).
If KT makes a major change we will inform the client as soon as possible reasonably possible if there is time before the departure. When major change is made the client may choose: between accepting the change, accepting any alternative tour offered or a compensation that will be done as a credit note directly to the tour operator involved. No refund will be done directly to the passengers.
Any complaint the passengers have while on holiday must be brought to KT office attention immediately in order to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is still not reached complaint must be put in writing to KT in our "comment cards" for land or cruise services. A formal complaint must be received within 30 days of the end of the tour. KT will not accept any liability of claims received after this period.
It will be mandatory to all the passengers using KT services to have a valid travel insurance before coming to Ecuador, this type of insurance is not included on KT tours and cruises. We highly recommend purchasing traveller's insurance for trip delay, trip cancellation, baggage, accident and sickness.
KT accepts no responsibility for discrepancies between verbal quotes / information and written quotes / information. After payment has been made, all information contained on the itinerary is considered correct and will be operated by KT.
In order to keep maintain the international safety and security standards that the International Regulations give us to be accomplished, as well as to improve the services and space in our fleet, we need to do a yearly dry dock to our ships. We will advise you in advance the dates of this procedure, however this period may be extended and last minute changes will be involved.
