This region, at 500 meters above sea level, is part of El Choco, an important ecosystem and biodiversity “hot spot”. We will paddle through tropical rainforest, observing exotic flora and fauna from our unique perspective. Along the way, we will stop at beautiful waterfalls and river beaches for refreshing swims. This class II river contains soft and easy rapids which we will navigate for approximately 3 hours, enjoying great jungle scenery along the way. We highly recommend this trip for families and kids over 5 years old. We’ll pause for a delicious picnic lunch on the river and then head back to Quito, arriving to the city in the late afternoon.
