The Amazon jungle, known as the Oriente, begins on the eastern slopes of the Andes and extends for thousands of kilometers eastward. Ecuador's upper Amazonian region is a playground of pristine white water rivers and abundant cloud forest jungles. The lower Amazonian region is characterised by its rainforest and multiple faunistic reserves. Our most popular jungle trip consists of three unforgettable days in the Amazon jungle. Explore Amazonian communities, trek through the rainforest, swim in natural river pools and raft down scenic rivers.
