Frequently Asked Questions

What are the luggage weight restrictions on flights to the Galapagos Islands?

Passengers one bag of up to 44lbs on flights to the Galapagos Islands. If you want to bring more than 44lbs, each airline does charge an overweight luggage charge. You are also allowed one carry-on bag in flight.

The more important piece regarding your luggage size is the limited space you will have on a Galapagos cruise. Most cabins are fairly small and you will probably not want any more than 30 lbs of luggage. Also, we recommend using soft-sided luggage as it is easier to transport and pack away in a closet or drawer than hard suitcases.
